Terms and Conditions - CAD Drawing Services. (Measured surveys, floorplans and elevations)

  1. Introduction
    • These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of CAD drawing services by Bournemouth Planning Drawings (hereafter referred to as “the Service Provider”) to commercial clients (hereafter referred to as “the Client”).
    • By engaging the Service Provider, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Services
    • The Service Provider will provide CAD drawing services including, but not limited to, building measurements, floorplans, and elevations.
    • Where necessary specific services to be provided will be outlined in a separate Statement of Work (SOW) or project agreement.
  3. Fees and Payment
    • Fees for services will be agreed prior to commencement and usually within a specific price range.
    • Invoices to be paid within 14 days of the date of invoice unless otherwise agreed.
    • Late payments may incur a late fee of 10% per month on the outstanding balance.
  4. Client Responsibilities
    • The Client agrees to provide the Service Provider with access to the premises for measurements and any other necessary information required to complete the project.
    • The Client will ensure that the premises are safe and comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  5. Revisions and Changes
    • The Service Provider will accommodate up to two revisions within the scope of the original project agreement.
    • Additional revisions or changes will be billed at an hourly rate of £45 or as agreed upon separately.
  6. Delivery and Turnaround Time
    • The Service Provider will deliver the completed CAD drawings by an agreed-upon deadline prior to commencement of works.
    • Delays caused by factors beyond the Service Provider’s control, such as lack of access to the premises or delayed client feedback, may result in extended delivery times.
  7. Intellectual Property
    • Upon full payment, the Client will receive the rights to use the CAD drawings for their intended purpose.
    • The Service Provider retains the copyright to all drawings and may use them for portfolio / marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  8. Confidentiality
    • Both parties agree to keep confidential all information exchanged during the course of the project.
    • The Service Provider will not disclose any project details to third parties without the Client’s written consent.
  9. Liability and Indemnity
    • The Service Provider will take reasonable care in providing accurate and precise drawings but does not accept liability for any errors or omissions.
    • The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the use of the CAD drawings.
    • All works completed by Bournemouth Planning Drawings are covered by our third-party indemnity insurance
  10. Termination
    • Either party may terminate the project agreement by providing 5 days’ written notice.
    • Upon termination, the Client will pay for all services rendered up to the termination date.
  11. Amendments
    • These Terms and Conditions may be amended by mutual agreement in writing by both parties.
  12. Acceptance
    • By engaging the Service Provider, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
    • By making payment of an invoice for services provided you are deemed to have read, understood and have been satisfied with the above terms and conditions.
